JourneyMan 2008

I reflect on an amazing event. JourneyMan 2008 allowed for me to reflect on my growth from JourneyMan last September 2007 where I emerged with a real sense of RECOVERY from the recent past where there was so much loss and pain. This year I leave with a deep sense of DISCOVERY and a welcoming of all that Grace is presenting me. The willingness of the courageous men to be vulnerable and share their lifes' experiences is a motivation that for me has been missing for many years. I reflect in awe at the changes witnessed and experienced in another beautiful Journey event. Once again, I came to get something and ended up leaving so much behind. From my first JourneyMan in 2007 I left with 2 clear insights,
1) We men ALL have the same things in common such as fears etc.
2) That we're all scared to death of women.
This year I leave with a new number 2) We are able to relate differently to women and other men because we are finally able to be comfortable in our own skins.

The lessons learned through each of the processes allows for an awareness that has for many, not be experienced before. What a liberating feeling!
