About Me:

I am one of only two accredited Feng Shui Masters in Australia. I have studied and practised Feng Shui in the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan.

My interest in Feng Shui began when my Tai Qi teacher mentioned the subject over dinner one night in Sydney's Chinatown. I then asked to learn Feng Shui from him. This request was refused as I was informed that Feng Shui was a " Chinese Secret". After repeated requests to learn I was set a test that my teacher was sure I would fail. I was given a task to identify the reason why 4 Businesses in Chinatown had closed down. If correctly identified I would then be taught Feng Shui. After much deliberation, I successfully identified the Feng Shui problems that had lead to the business failures, much to the surprise of my teacher! I was then taught the " Form School" of Feng Shui.

I furthered my studies in Feng Shui and other energy related modalities such as dowsing, space clearing and crystals with scientist Kevin Masman and world-renowned consultant Karen Kingston. Further investigation revealed that in order to become a professional consultant I must learn the "Flying Star" system.

Chinese Flying Star specialist, Master Joseph Yu, then trained me in this art. Master Yu has a background in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Hong Kong. I have published articles in Ideas magazine, Conscious Living, Natural Life Review and have appeared in the courier mails "Business Enterprise" section. I have also appeared on local radio and Television. I am the principal of the Feng Shui Advantage Academy of Feng Shui, manage my own consultancy firm and have guest lectured to the Queensland University of Technology's school of interior design and built environment.

Testimonials

George explained the principles of Feng Shui for me in a way that I could easily understand and then work with. He helped me understand that based on the age, site orientation and floor plan layout of the house, each room/ area of a house has certain energy that supports certain activities. The objective of Feng Shui is to match the energies of the rooms with the activities that occur in them, so as to benefit from these energies in a positive way.

Within 1 week of working with George, I received a pay rise at work. Within 3 months I met an amazing woman who may just be the woman of my dreams. My life in general has improved in many areas and I am achieving so many of my personal and professional goals with amazing ease. Thank you George.

On the 12th of January 2007 George Bennis conducted a Chi Activation Ceremony at my house in Eumundi, Qld.

I can honestly say, I was speechless and overwhelmed at the presence of love and spiritual energy that was present in my house that night. Within 5 weeks all my bills were payed, I started a new business, I made some new friendships, my skills for massage treatment increased, my energy level and concentration has doubled and an old friend offered assistance in nearly every aspect of my life. (Abundance)

Thank you so much George for your special wok in clearing the way to prosperity.

What is Feng Shui (Part 4)

The facing direction of a building along with the time it was built determines the “Li Qi” or qi pattern or as some may say “energy map”. The mechanics for this is embedded in the Lou pan compass. The origin of the mechanics are unknown however, it is derived from the lou shu and He Tu maps. These maps along with the 8 trigrams, 64 hexagrams and the stems and branches form the basis of feng shui. The Lou Shu and He Tu are of such antiquity that their origins are the basis of myth. They are said… Continue

What is Feng Shui (Part 3)

The Compasss Schools as they have become know in the west are known as the “Li Qi” Schools. This means the qi distribution or pattens or order of qi schools. These Feng Shui compass systems provide various systems to classify the qi. One of the basic foundation principals of feng shui is that the quality of qi alters when received form the various points of the compass. In other words different direction have different types or quality of qi.

What is Feng Shui (Part 2)

The Feng Shui Advantage, Brisbane

The only substance to collect and contain qi is water, therfore the most fortunate sites are ones where there is water. It is no coincidence that the most expensive real estate is water frontage. As this is where qi collects, people want to gather, where people want to gather is much sought after, what is much sought after is highly priced.

The texts say

”Qi rides the wind and is retained at the boundary of… Continue
