About Me:
I am the founder and CEO of Weekend Workshops. I graduated from Queensland University in 1982 with a bachelor of Science majoring in computer science. For many years I worked in the world of computer technology where with a good friend Tom McMurray we developed a successful IT company specialising in knowledge management.

As a result of what I then thought of as my world imploding and I now see as opportunities for growth I was forced to have a good look at myself and re-evaluate how I did me. This journey has taken a number of years and is by no means over.

Along the way I have met a number of wonderful people who are strongly committed to assisting others towards self-transformation, self-empowerment and supporting others to fully accept and love themselves as they are. I feel very grateful even blessed to have met these people.

I have set up Weekend Workshops as a place for these wonderful people and others like them to join together with enthusiasm, love, service, passion, humor and teamwork to be the change they want in the world and inspire other to do likewise.

My Intension

My intension is to reach the place where I am not willing to listen to people criticize one another… where I take no satisfaction from somebody being wrong… where it matters to me so much that I feel good, that I am only willing to think positive things about people…I am only willing to look for positive aspects; I am only willing to look for solutions, and I am not willing to beat the drum of all of the problems of the world.

The 100th Monkey Effect
